Race Recorder in 3 steps

Your phone becomes the boat's GPS tracker. Your position shows on the live regatta map at regatta.osgps.pl.

1. Install the app

QR code for the App Store — iPhone: App Store

QR code for Google Play — Android: Google Play

Search for: Omni Regatta Race Recorder

2. Join the event

In the app press Scan QR and scan the organizer's code. Scan it in the app, not with the phone's camera. Or type the key into Event key → Find event.
Enter the boat name, sail number and the helm's full name.
Press Join event.

3. Start tracking

Press Start tracking → Start and allow location.
iPhone: Settings → Race Recorder → Location → Always and Precise Location.
Android: Settings → Apps → Race Recorder → Battery → Unrestricted.
Lock the phone and put it in a waterproof case, high up in the cockpit.

Remember: one phone per boat · charge to 100% and bring a power bank · start tracking in the harbour · press Stop tracking after the finish. Without coverage the app stores positions and sends them later.
